As Bridgehampton Traffic Safety Plan Takes Shape, Residents To Weigh In
An informational meeting is slated for May 18 in Bridgehampton.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Residents with concerns about traffic safety in Bridgehampton will now have the chance to be heard.
Southampton Town officials will host an informational meeting on traffic safety concerns with the Bridgehampton business community on Thursday, May 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Nutrition/Community Center, located at 585 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton.
The town is in the process of developing a traffic safety plan for the hamlet; to that end, town officials are meeting with various segments of the community to hear concerns and share ideas.

Town representatives, including the town engineer and the director of transportation and public safety, recently met with the Bridgehampton Citizens Advisory Committee and is now meeting with the business community to discuss ideas regarding what can be done to improve pedestrian safety.
A Southampton town board work session is also planned on the Bridgehampton safety plan; that work session is slated for June 8 at the Bridgehampton Community House at 10 a.m.
