Broken-Hearted Daughter Begs For Help to Find Dad, Missing Ex-Riverhead Cop, Councilman
"Police departments are doing everything they can to bring my daddy home, but . . . time is running out." - Kaitlyn Buckley.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A young woman is desperately seeking help to find her father, former Riverhead Town police officer and councilman Tim Buckley.
Kaitlin Buckley, 19, created a GoFundMe page, "Reward for Info on Tim Buckley," which has raised $15,595 of its $25,000 goal in four days.
Kaitlin, the oldest of three girls, said she, her parents and her sisters lived on Long Island before moving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in 2011.

"About three weeks ago, the man that is my world, my father, went missing," she wrote on the page.
"My dad's name is Tim Buckley, he is a retired police officer, ex-military, always very involved and such a funny and incredibly kind person who loved his friends and family so very much. This behavior is so very unlike him and we've almost come to a dead end," she said.

She added that while the Myrtle Beach and Horry County Police Departments are doing everything they possibly can "to bring my daddy home. . . with very little leads, time is running out. We need your help."
Kaitlin said friends and family are asked to donate anything they possibly can to be used as a reward for information to bring her father home.
"Anything at all put toward this is appreciated whether it be a few bucks or simply sharing this page on social media. My dad would do anything for anyone, especially his little girls, and I want to do everything I possibly can for him," she said. "Help with this would mean the world to my family and me, and I thank everyone in advance for your generosity and support."
Anything at all helps, she said. "There is no goal amount — the only goal is to get my dad back."
Anyone with information in regard to Tim Buckley's whereabouts is asked to call the Horry County Sheriff's Office at (843) 915-5450, or to dial 911.
