Burglar Flees Dunkin' Donuts With No Money: Cops
He entered through a side window but tried, unsuccessfully, to get cash from the register, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Someone tried to burglarize a Dunkin' Donuts in Wading River early Thursday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the incident took place at 2:30 a.m. at the business on Route 25A; police were called to the Dunkin' Donuts after the report of a commercial burglary.
Officers determined an unknown male entered the business through a south side window and attempted to remove money from the cash register, police said. The individual fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.

The Riverhead Police Department's detective division was notified and responded for further investigation, police said.
