Calverton Man Charged With Driving While Impaired By Drugs After Crash: Cops

CALVERTON, NY — A Calverton man driving on drugs was involved in a crash Saturday, police said.
According to New York State Police, James A. Karabiberoglu, 28, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and driving while impaired by drugs following a crash involving an injury on Sunrise Highway in Southampton.
Karabiberoglu was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for evaluation and was held for arraignment in Southampton Justice Court, police said.
