Car Thief Enters Occupied Quogue Village Home Early Thursday Morning, Steals Keys, Audi: Police

QUOGUE, NY — A thief entered an occupied Quogue home early Thursday morning, stealing car keys and then, a 2023 Audi, police said.

According to the Quogue Village Police Department, the car theft took place at a home on Niamogue Lane; no confrontation with the occupants of the house occurred.

Next, in a separate incident, an attempt was made to gain access to the garage of a residence on Bayview Drive, police said.

"Residents are reminded to lock doors and windows, secure vehicles, and avoid leaving keys or valuables in plain view," police said.
