Celebrate Your Senior! Teen Devoted 230+ Community Service Hours
A new Patch series will celebrate students who have seen their senior years derailed due to coronavirus. Nominate your senior here.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — For so many students who should have been enjoying senior year with prom, graduation, and other milestone events, the coronavirus crisis has meant that sadly, dreams and long-awaited celebrations have been put on hold.
Patch would like to shine a light on these amazing young people and their accomplishments; a new series "Celebrate Your Senior!" launched Monday, inviting proud parents and others to spotlight the young people whose accomplishments can't be derailed by coronavirus.
Stephanie Brabant of East Hampton wrote to Patch: "We are nominating our daughter Olivia Rose Brabant. We are very proud of all that Olivia has accomplished throughout her high school years. Olivia is smart, determined, organized, and very prepared to go out to the open world," she said.

Brabant thanked all of the East Hampton High School teachers and coaches who helped shape her daughter's high school journey.

Olivia, she said, swam for the East Hampton High School varsity swim team from eighth grade until senior year; Olivia also ran on the EHHS varsity track team in ninth and tenth grades.

"Olivia switched things up and played JV softball during her eleventh grade year," Brabant said.
In addition, Olivia maintained high honor standing from grades 9 to 12 and has been the class treasure for four years, too.
"Olivia was inducted into the National Honor Society. She’s part of the Key Club and 100 Century Club, with more 230 hours of community service," Brabant said.
In addition, she said, Olivia keeps busy out of school: She works at Vineyard Vines, baby-sits, and works as an ocean lifeguard at Indian Wells Beach, as well working with the "nipper" and junior life guards.
Olivia will be attending the University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing on the pre-med track.
Congratulations, Olivia Rose Brabant!
