Cigarettes Stolen From Riverhead Gas Station: Cops
Someone smashed the front window, entered the convenience store and stole the cigarettes, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — An investigation is ongoing to find whoever smashed the front window pane of a gas station in Riverhead and stole cigarettes, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the commercial burglary took place at Empire Gas on Old Country Road on March 29 at 1:57 a.m.
A Riverhead police patrol officer discovered the shattered front window; additional officers were called to the scene to assist in the initial burglary investigation, including a Riverhead K9 unit, police said.

A K9 track was conducted at the scene, police said, and the detective division also responded.
