Coast Guard Searching for 2 Missing Swimmers in Wading River
BREAKING: Three men slipped into the water while fishing; one was able to pull himself to shore and call for help, the Coast Guard said.

WADING RIVER, NY — The Coast Guard is searching for two missing fishermen who slipped into the water in Wading River Saturday, authorities said.
According to the United States Coast Guard, the USCG and partner agencies, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, watchstanders from Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound received a report of three mej who slipped into the water while fishing on the rocks near Wading River.
One male was able to grab onto a rock, pull himself onto the shore and call for help after he lost sight of the other two men in the water, the Coast Guard said in a release.

The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Sitkinak is scheduled to arrive on scene at 11 p.m. Saturday to commence search patterns, the Coast Guard said.
The Coast Guard asked the public to contact the Coast Guard Command Center at 203-468-4421 with any information that may help locate the two missing fishermen.
