Community Comes Together To Bury Friend Lost Too Soon

RIVERHEAD, NY — Friends have come together to bury a friend lost too soon.

A GoFundMe page, "Remembering Kat," has raised $2,165 of its $5,000 goal so far.

"Kathleen was taken from us too soon. She was a wonderful person who positively impacted everyone she met. Kat lost her battle with addiction on June 19. Please help contribute to her final expenses and give her the send off she deserved," the page reads.
