Credit Cards Stolen In Riverhead Used In Medford: Police

BREAKING: The thieves stole the credit cards from two vehicles at a Riverhead golf course, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Police are searching for the individuals who used credit cards stolen from Riverhead.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Riverhead Town Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the people who used stolen credit cards at a Medford store this month, police said.

Credit cards were stolen from two vehicles parked at the Sandy Pond Golf Course, located at 1495 Roanoke Avenue on July 13, police said.

A short time later, the credit cards were used by two men at Target, located at 2975 Horseblock Road, in Medford, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
