Reward being offered for info leading to an arrest.

A puppy found dead in a garbage bag at Laurel Lake Preserve on Friday had been shot numerous times, officials said.
Now the Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction for those responsible for the heinous act.
SPCA Chief Roy Gross said the puppy, described as a female border collie mix about 14 weeks old, was found in a plastic bag on a trail at the preserve. The puppy still had pellets lodged in its body, he said.
