Don't Miss: Polish Festival Saturday In Riverhead
With the annual Polish Town Fair canceled for the 3rd year, the Riverhead Polish Independent Club holds its own Polish Festival Saturday.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Although the annual Polish Town Fair was canceled for the third year this season, the fun will continue Saturday at a Polish Festival presented at Polish Town Hall.
Presented by the Riverhead Polish Independent Club, the festival takes place through midnight at the Polish Hall, located at 214 Marcy Avenue.
The event will include an indoor and outdoor festival, the RBO Band from noon to 5 p.m., vendors and traditional Polish food.

A special presentation at 2 p.m. will feature a cast of 10, presenting portrayals of those with Polish heritage, from science, entertainment, sports, said Lisa Dabrowski, who will also take part. "Besides being the show's emcee, I will be one of the performers, with one of my original poems. It's history, entertainment, comedy, and more," she said.
The outside event costs $5, while there is no charge to go inside the Polish Hall and purchase food.

The nighttime event begins at 7 p.m. inside the Polish Hall, with a DJ from 7 p.m. to midnight, kielbasa sandwiches, a Polish heritage display and a cash bar.
