Drunk Driver Caught Speeding In Calverton: Cops

He had a blood alcohol content of .21 percent, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A drunk driver was caught speeding in Calverton, police said.

According to New York State Police, Justin D. Galbraith, 30, of Farmingdale, was arrested on Sunday at 2:12 a.m. on New York State Route 25 near Manor Road after he was stopped for speeding.

Galbraith was found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .21%, police said. He was arrested, charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, released on an appearance ticket, and is due back at Riverhead Justice Court on Aug. 22, police said.
