Drunk Driver Caught Speeding: Cops

He was also seen crossing over the hazard markings while driving drunk at 6 a.m., police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested after he was caught driving drunk and speeding, police said.

On March 3 at 6 a.m., Wilmer Ramos Gregorio, 25, was driving east on State Route 25 west of 25A in Calverton and was stopped for speeding, crossing over hazard markings, and moving from his lane unsafely, New York State Police said.

Upon further investigation, Ramos Gregorio was found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .12% and was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

Ramos Gregorio is due back on Monday in Riverhead Justice Court.
