Drunk Riverhead Driver Involved In Crash: Cops
The Riverhead man was involved in a single car crash in Greenport, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was charged with driving drunk after a Greenport crash, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Tyler Astin, 22, was arrested on Friday at 1:09 a.m. on Country Road 48 and Albertson Lane and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor.
Astin was in a single car crash and a subsequent investigation revealed he was intoxicated; he was held for arraignment, police said.
