Dump Truck Rollover Crash Leaves 2 With Minor Injuries: Cops
The crash took place Saturday morning, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Two men were sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a dump truck rollover crash in Riverhead Saturday morning, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the crash was reported Saturday at 8:42 a.m. on Route 25 and County Road 105 between a 1996 Mack dump truck whose driver was attempting to turn west from County Road 105 to Rt. 25 and overturned.
The truck struck a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder that was stopped at the traffic light on Rt. 25 at the intersection, police said.

Both drivers were transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center by Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps with minor injuries, police said.
Suffolk County Motor Carrier responded, conducting a safety inspection, along with the New York State Department of Transportation, the Riverhead Fire Department and New York State Police, police said.

The crash led to a road closure as the scene was cleared, police said.
