DWI Task Force Detail Nets 3 Arrests: Cops
Additional DWI enforcement details are slated to continue through the new year, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A DWI task force netted three arrests in Riverhead Friday night, police said.
According to the Riverhead Police Department, the three individuals were arrested as part of Suffolk County District Attorney Tim Sini's DWI task force. Riverhead Police, the Westhampton Beach Police Department, and the Quogue Village Police Department conducted increased enforcement throughout Riverhead, where several checkpoints had been established, police said.
- Colleen P. Wright, 30, of Rocky Point, was arrested after she was determined to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated when she entered a sobriety checkpoint; she was transported to the Riverhead Police Department where she was processed and held for arraignment, police said.

-Matthew F. Fineron, 22, of Riverhead, was arrested after he was found to be driving while under the influence of drugs when he entered a sobriety checkpoint; he was also charged with possession of marijuana, police said. He was transported to the Riverhead Police Department where he was processed and held for arraignment, police said.
- Alexander-Blue Logan, 25, of Farmingville, was a passenger in a vehicle that entered a sobriety checkpoint; he was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and marijuana, police said. He was transported to the Riverhead Police Department, where he was processed and held for arraignment, police said.

Similar enforcement details are scheduled to continue throughout the rest of the year as well as into the new year, police said.
