East End Arts Council Master Class & Spring Gala Featuring Legendary Hitmaker Nile Rodgers
East End Arts's Master Class and Spring Gala on May 7, 2016 will feature legendary "hitmaker" Nigel Rodgers.

East End Arts will present a special Master Class with Multiple Grammy-Winning Composer, Producer, Guitarist, & Co-Founder Member of the band Chic Nile Rodgers on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Suffolk Theater, located at 118 E. Main Street, Riverhead, NY 11901. Legendary “hitmaker” Rodgers will discuss songwriting, guitar playing and the music industry, which will be followed by a Q&A session. This not-to-be-missed event is open to the public and is perfect for musicians, music lovers, and all community members interested in any aspect of the music industry. Tickets are $25, $40 and $50. Rodgers will also take part in East End Arts’ Spring Gala as Keynote Speaker on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at East Wind, located at 5720 New York Rte 25A, Wading River, NY 11792. During the keynote address, Rodgers will discuss his life in the music industry. This exciting celebratory evening is a major fundraising event for East End Arts (EEA) and celebrates the future of the arts on the East End while honoring generous supporter Bank of America with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dancing featuring One Love; and live and silent auctions with Nicholas Dawes of Heritage Auctions and frequent appraiser on "Antiques Roadshow." All proceeds benefit East End Art Council’s mission to build and enrich our community through the arts by way of education, support, advocacy, and inspiration.
