The Riverhead Business Improvement District will hold its second Cardboard Boat Race along the Peconic Riverfront. Boats can only be made from cardboard, duct tape, and paint. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. A hula hoop contest will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the race will begin around 12 p.m. There will be four different categories to race in, including one for youth 12 and under.
