McGann-Mercy’s Booster Club will be holding its Annual Golf Classic at Rock Hill Golf & Country Club in Manorville on Thursday, September 29, 2011. As a fitting finale for the day, alumni and renowned golf professional, Tom Patri’77, will be honored at the Hall of Fame Induction Dinner that evening.
Registration starts at 11:30 am; there is a 1:00 pm Shotgun Start. The Hall of Fame Induction and Lobsterfest Dinner will start at 5:30 pm.

Tom Patri, Class of 1977, has made golf his life, starting his career at Mercy, continuing through college, playing the professional circuit and now, serving as an instructor at Friar’s Head and in Florida. Since his time at Mercy, he has received numerous honors and accolades, including being named the 1981 NCAA II National Champion, Metropolitan PGA Teacher of the Year, South Florida PGA Teacher of the Year and One of Golf Magazines Top 100 Instructors in America.
