Please join the Peconic Land Trust for this annual visit to meet the friendly goats and ponies at Catapano Dairy Farm! Learn about the care and keeping of goats, try your hand at milking a goat, and taste several varieties of goat-milk cheese and fudge made on-site by Karen and Michael Catapano. While there, enjoy a ride with Traveling Pony Rides, and don't forget to visit the Catapano's "Delicate Doe Goatique" to browse a wide selection of their own goat milk products, including award winning goat cheeses, luscious body creams and fragrant soaps. All children will receive a child-sized bar of their very own goat milk soap to take home. ***Please note there is no restroom at the farm. Program is suitable for children in grades K-6, registration begins at 10:30. $8/single, $15/duo, $20/family of 3, $25, family of 4. Optional pony ride is $2/child. Rain cancels.
