The Pulaski Street School Library will be renamed in honor of Riverhead graduate and Vietnam war hero, PFC Garfield Langhorn in a special ceremony on Friday, Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the school.
A bronze plaque bearing the name of the library will be placed over the library's entrance and another bronze plaque with the details of PFC Langhorn's life will be installed near the door. Inside the library, there will be two framed pictures of Langhorn.
