The Riverhead Town Recreation Department is set to host its 14th Annual Snapper Tournament, Saturday, Sept. 17, on the Peconic Riverfront.
The focus of the tournament is to get youth and adults involved in fishing and to raise money for the Riverhead Recreation Dept. Scholarship Fund.
There will be two Divisions: Adults (16&up) and Youth (under 16). Rod/Reel will go to the 1st place winner in each division. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each division. The Tournament begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
