Festive 5th Annual East End Emerald Society St. Pat's Day Parade
Irish eyes were smiling in Jamesport Saturday. See the photos and video here.
JAMESPORT, NY — Irish eyes were smiling and bagpipes echoed under sunny skies Saturday as the 5th Annual Jamesport East End Emerald Society's St. Patrick's Day Parade kicked off.
The crowd was jubilant, as the parade, let by Grand Marshal Sean Walter, wended its way down Main Road.
The parade began with a moment of silence for those lost this year including farmer Lyle Wells and the members of the NY Air National Guard 106th Rescue Wing who died in a tragic helicopter crash in Iraq.
