Fire District Vehicle Involved In Riverhead Crash: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY — At least one person was injured Thursday in two-car crash involving a Riverhead fire district SUV and another vehicle, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, the crash took place at the intersection of Doctor's Path and Route 25 at 4:41 p.m. Although there were some reports of a rollover, that could not be immediately confirmed, police said.

One person was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center but no serious injuries were believed to have been sustained, police said.
