
RIVERHEAD, NY — Fire ripped through condos in Riverhead early Saturday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the fire broke out at 2:18 a.m. on Bluffs Drive North; police responded after a report of a possible fire in one of the condos.
Officers reported two adjoining condos that were fully engulfed by flames, police said.

All residents and nearby condos were evacuated safely, police said.
The fire was extinguished by the Riverhead Fire Department; the Riverhead fire marshall is continuing the investigation.
