The RitmoFit experience is a collaboration between Mila Tina and Vanessa Acero. Their mission is to inspire, empower, and create a community for women to find support and celebrate their beauty and power via exercise, auditory art, live music, and creative self-expression in an inclusive, safe, and fun environment, SAC said.
“For this event, we want to celebrate Women's History Month by honoring women’s strength, compassion, vision, and courage for stepping into their power to survive, thrive, become the heroines of their lives and make a difference in the world,” Tina, a Chilean audio visual producer, creative director, drummer, performance artist, and self-defense instructor, said. “We want to provide women of our community tools and exercises that will connect them to their powerful inner feminine fire.”
“We decided to culminate this powerful month with a reminder to women that there is a special kind of fire burning within us all, ready to vitalize and embolden us especially during our most difficult battles,” Acero, a Colombian athlete, fitness instructor, wellness coach, fitness model,
and founder of Alumbra Sport, said. “We hope to inspire women to take action, to know they are not alone in their struggles, and to realize that the warmth of their inner fire can melt their worries away and its light can help them find their way.”
Special guest Sydney Spirit of Agni, a Himalayan master yogi, will guide the audience with a “Shakati Power Pranic Breath Set” to help revitalize the energy flow to command presence, stability, and grace.
Sydney Spirit will also guide women through “Dance 2 Freedom,” a dance session embodying the elements of nature — ether, water, air, fire, earth — and focused on a cycle of transformation, rebirth and death.
Vendors, healthy snacks, raffles, giveaways, and other special guests will be featured at the event. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles. Guests are also encouraged to wear red to represent “fire,” though this is not required. Tickets are $35 for SAC members and early birds. General admission is $45.
