Football Great Michael Strahan Dines In Aquebogue

AQUEBOGUE, NY — Even a former NFL star knows the North Fork is the place to be.
Michael Strahan, former NFL great and "Good Morning America" co-host enjoyed a taste of the North Fork Saturday, stopping by Il Giardino in Aquebogue.

"It's been an honor having Michael Strahan from the NY Giants with us tonight," Il Giardino owner John Gambino wrote on social media.

Customers were equally enthused to see the Super Bowl legend in their midst. "So cool to see him there tonight!" one wrote.

Gambino, who created Il Giardino, an Italian eatery drawing wows from residents and visitors alike, first conjured his culinary magic for decades at Baby Moon in Westhampton Beach before making the move to the North Fork.
