Four Wheels, Tires Stolen From Pickup Truck: Cops

The merchandise was valued at more than $4,600, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for whoever stole wheels and tires right off a pickup truck in Riverhead, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Riverhead Town Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the person who stole the four wheels and tires from a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck at Riverhead Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, located at 642 West Main St., on Feb. 17 at 10 p.m., police said.

The person fled in an SUV, police said. The merchandise was valued at $4,662, police added.
