Join our cultural program to host a teen from France coming to study at Mercy Catholic high school in Riverhead this August for 12 weeks! The student will live with the local family to discover the daily live of the American people, while going to school and making new friends. The participant is supported by the local counselor, and each student passed rigorous screenings and exams to be selected for the program. Families are only asked to provide a room and meals at home. A host family stipend of $600/month is provided to offset the costs of hosting.
Explore the magic of France without leaving your home by interacting with your student, learning the language and discovering the beautiful culture - you will get a friend for life that you could visit. The students prepare delicious recipes to share with their hosts and will be happy to treat you to some amazing authentic dishes!
