The free ice is available Thursday and Friday. Find out where you can get yours.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — With many residents still struggling without power in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Isaias, Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon said free ice will be available Thursday and Friday for pick up at county jails.
Residents impacted by the storm can stop by with their own coolers or plastic bags, and the ice will be distributed on a first come/first serve basis as long as it’s available, he said.
The free distribution was organized to help residents who are having trouble finding, or affording, ice after the massive power outages.
