Free Rapid COVID-19 To Be Distributed In Riverhead
The tests will be distributed at two locations.
RIVERHEAD, NY — Riverhead residents will soon be able to receive free COVID-19 rapid testing kids.
According to Riverhead Town Supervisor Yvette Aguiar, Suffolk County has provided the supervisor's office with 1,200 rapid test kits for distribution to the Riverhead community at no cost. Each kit consists of two tests.
Aguiar has scheduled a "Free COVID-19 Test Kit Drive" to take place at two locations on Tuesday, February 22, from noon to 4 p.m. Distribution locations include the Riverhead Town Hall reception desk, located at 200 Howell Avenue in Riverhead, and the Aquebogue Senior Center, located at 60 Shade Tree Lane in Aquebogue.
