Group of 6 Teens Who Robbed 2 Kids of Sneakers, Cell Phone, Caught: Police
The robbery took place at Unity Park and Oakland Drive West in Riverhead in March, police said.

RIVERHEAD, NY - Six teens who robbed two young people of their sneakers and a cell phone were apprehended after an extensive search by authorities, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the incident took place on March 19, when two juveniles were robbed at Unity Park and Oakland Drive West in Riverhead by a group of eight teens.
Six teens, ranging in age from 13 to 18, were arrested after the investigation by the Riverhead Police Department's detective division, police said.

The cases have been turned over to Suffolk County Court and Family Court for prosecution, police said.
