A man armed with a gun robbed a Calverton gas station early Tuesday morning, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, the man entered the Exxon gas station’s mini mart located at 1 Edwards Avenue at about 12:10 a.m. He displayed a handgun and demanded cash, police said.
The employee complied and the robber fled south on County Road 24, police said.

No injuries were reported. Police did not release a description of the robber. No arrests have been made.
