Happy 87th Birthday Riverhead Garden Club
Gala luncheon held at East Wind on June 8. Shirley Simon honored for her 60+ years of service to the members and community.
Founded in 1929 and incorporated in 1931, the Riverhead Garden Club ladies celebrated their 87th birthday at a gala luncheon at East Wind on June 8th. Treated to floral designs by Theresa Soto of Flowers by Voegler, serenaded by the Long Island Sound Chorus, and having to decide which of the 30 raffle baskets to choose from, the 128 guests were kept both entertained and busy. One of the highlights was the recognition of Shirley Simon for her 60+ years of service to the members and community.
