Happy Ending in Riverhead as Lost Dog Found Safe, Back in Family's 'Loving Arms'

Jada, a mini pinscher, had been missing since January 26, and her heartbroken family searched desperately for their beloved pet.

Sometimes, there are happy endings.

The North Fork Animal Welfare League in Riverhead reported on Faceook today that Jada, an 11-year-old mini pinscher, who had been missing since January 26, was found safely and returned to her loving family.

“She has been found and is back home. What a little warrior she is. She is doing well and is back in the loving arms of her family. Thank you to all. I know many of you have been out helping to find her. Happy ending for this amazing girl,” the post read.

Jada was caught today by an ”amazing” NFAWL volunteer, the post read. “She looks good and is in good shape, just glad she is safe and sound.”

A reward had been offered for Jada’s return.

After Jada first went missing, wearing her pink collar near John Wesley Village and Middle Road in Riverhead, the community turned out to help, spreading the word on social media and searching to make sure she was brought home, safe and sound.
