The Independent Group Home Living hosted their annual IGHL Luncheon and Fashion Fling at Westhampton Country Club in Westhampton Beach. The sold-out event took place on Sunday, Oct. 19.

IGHL, which provides services for men, women and children who have intellectual disabilities, with 50 group homes on the East End of Long Island in addition to 25 day-programs throughout Suffolk County, hosts dozens of fundraisers annually.

“This event recognizes these women as being a vital part of IGHL’s family and in this way we honor them.” Dori Geier, co-founder of the IGHL Luncheon and Fashion Fling said.“These women are mothers, sisters, cousins, grandmothers and aunts of some of the people we care for; others are valued supporters. Together we are strong in fighting for and standing up for those who aren’t able to.”

Willis was the event sponsor for the sixth straight year. The flowers that adorn each table were provided by 1800FLOWERS and Greg Williams Quartet was performing throughout the luncheon and fashion show.
