Industrial Vacuum Stolen From Fenced In Yard: Cops

The keys were left in the ignition, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — An industrial vacuum was stolen from a fenced-in lot in Riverhead, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who stole a portable industrial vacuum from a yard in Riverhead.

A 2012 Hurricane Vacuum Loader, Model 500, VIN# 1D9H2UF28CW048017, was reported stolen on Jan. 19, police said.

It was last seen on Dec. 18 in a fenced in area at 1794 West Main Street, police said. The keys were left in the ignition, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
