MATTITUCK, NY — Soggy skies Saturday morning did nothing to rain down on the spirits of the crowd that turned out for the annual Kait's Angels yard sale to benefit community members in need of a helping hand.
Tables were packed with yard sale treasures and hearts were full of love at the Doorhy home as scores turned out to donate and help Matthew Rolle of Aquebogue, a young dad, and Dylan Newman, 14, of Southold, both battling cancer.
Every year, the community opens its hearts and brings tables full of donations, including beautiful glassware, clothing, home decor, books, toys and more, all for a yard sale that touches lives.
