Knifepoint Robbery At Smoke And Vapor Shop: Cops

WADING RIVER, NY — The search is on for man who held up a Wading River smoke and vapor shop at knifepoint, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, a call came in at 9:23 a.m. Sunday about a robbery at the shop, located on Route 25A.

A man entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money from an employee, police said.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area, police said.

The Riverhead Police Department's detective division was notified and responded, police said.
