Landscaping Tools Stolen In Riverhead: Cops

The locks were cut off a security storage locker, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Police are investigating the theft of power tools in Riverhead.

According to Riverhead Police, somewhere between Feb. 23 and March 8, a thief or thieves cut the locks off a secure storage locker on Griffing Avenue and removed several gas powered landscaping tools including the two shown in the photograph.

The value of the tools was listed as approximately $1,500, police said.
