At Least 1 Injured After Car Hits Telephone Pole on Flanders Road: Police
The road was not closed after the accident, police said.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY - At least one person was injured in an accident Monday morning on Flanders Road, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, the accident took place at 9:06 a.m. when a vehicle hit a telephone pole on Flanders Road, near Ludlum Avenue, in Flanders during Monday morning's rain.
Along with Southampton Town Police, Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Riverhead Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, police said.
