LI Student Threatens, Again, To 'Boom The School' On Social Media: PD
It was the second day in a row he made threats: He was also arrested Wednesday for similar threats of violence, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A 15-year-old Riverhead High School student was arrested Thursday after he threatened violence for the second day in a row, police said.
According to Riverhead Town police, at 7:54 a.m., officers responded to the high school in response to a threat against faculty and students. An investigation revealed that the student posted a message on his Instagram account, stating: "Imma send shots flying at the school for XXX" and "I hope I get locked up so I can see XXX and we can both beat the case so then both of us can boom the school," police said.
He was arrested and charged with one count of making a terroristic threat and transported to the Nassau County juvenile detention facility, where he will be detained until his arraignment at Suffolk County Superior Court, Youth Part., police said.

A search of the 15-year-old male student's home for any weapons was conducted, with no weapons found, police said. An extreme risk protection order is pending, police said.
A portion of the teen's Instagram post was redacted to protect the his identity, he was previously arrested on Wednesday for similar threats of violence, police said.
