Long Island Head Start Receives Helping Hand from BJ's Wholesale Club
The BJ's Wholesale Club in Riverhead, NY recently contributed over $2,000 worth of product to the two local Long Island Head Start centers.

Both of the Long Island Head Start centers in Riverhead, NY share a big, long “thank you” for BJ’s Wholesale Club for the helping hand they received! Dave Shaw, general manager of BJ’s in Riverhead, presents representatives from both Long Island Head Start locations with donations to improve their current programs, including two 16” laptops, two all-in-one printers, two Canon Powershot cameras, a kid-size folding picnic table, and much more!
Long Island Head Start’s mission is to provide the mechanisms necessary for families to break the cycle of poverty and to provide high quality, comprehensive child development and family support services through the involvement of parents, communities and staff.
