Long Island Moose Car Show At Tanger Sunday

RIVERHEAD, NY — Car enthusiasts are ready to rev up for a dazzling display of hot rods and classic cars Sunday, as the Long Island Moose Classic Car Club's 19th Annual Car Show unfolds at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead.

The show takes place Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; a rain date has been scheduled for Sept. 16.

Pre-registration costs $15; $20 at the gate.

According to its website, the Long Island Moose Classic Car Club is made up of Loyal Order of Moose members, and the mission of the club is "to collect, preserve, and show" classic cars. Funds raised benefit Moosehaven, to assist the elderly with personal and long term care; Mooseheart, for the education and care of children; community service projects also help to raise funds for churches, Boy Scouts and the Wounded Warriors.
