Lost Dog Found in Grangebel Park

RIVERHEAD, NY - A little lost dog needs help to find his way home.

According to the North Fork Animal Welfare League/Riverhead Animal Shelter's Facebook page, the dog was found by a police officer running loose in Grangebel Park off Main Street in Riverhead Monday.

"Can you help me get back home?" the post read. "I was seen with a medium size brown dog, but it ran off. I am a male and am wearing a neck scarf with my collar. If you know me please contact the Riverhead Animal Shelter at 631-369-6189 ext 2. Proof of ownership is required for redemption."
