Man, 26, Dies In Motorcycle Crash
The motorcyclist rear-ended a Ford pickup and died in the crash Thursday afternoon, police say.
RIDGE, NY — A Ridge man was killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, the crash took place on Route 25A, east of William Floyd Parkway, on Thursday at 12:20 p.m. when Kodi Zwolinksi, 26, of Raynor Road, who was headed east, rear-ended a 2001 Ford pickup driven by Marie Panhorst.
Zwolinski was transported by Ridge Fire Department Rescue to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where he was pronounced dead, police said. Panhorst, 54, of Mastic Beach, was uninjured.

Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating the crash; both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said.
