Man Caught With Crack Cocaine, PCP In Riverhead: Police

He was arrested after a traffic stop, police say.

RIVERSIDE, NY — A Riverside man was caught with crack cocaine and PCP in Riverhead on Friday, police said.

According to New York State Police, Joe L. McKay, 44, was arrested and charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop for multiple infractions while traveling north on County Road 105.

He was processed at New York State Police Barracks in Riverside and held at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility for arraignment on Saturday, police said.
