FLANDERS, NY — A Flanders man was charged with speeding drunk on New York State Route 24, police said.
According to New York State Police, Gregory P. Spano, 41, was arrested on Friday and charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop for speeding; he was transported to New York State Police barracks Riverside where he provided a positive breath sample of .16 percent, police said.
He was processed without incident and held at Southampton Town Police Department for arraignment the next morning in Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
