Man Charged With Burglarizing Riverhead Deli: Police
The burglary took place in August, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested Thursday and charged with burglarizing a local deli, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, Zachary E. Marini, 30, was arrested and charged with one count of third-degree burglary. Marini burglarized the Maple Tree Deli on West Main Street on August 2; he was arrested after an "extensive investigation" into recent commerical burglaries in town, police said.
Marini was arraigned and released on his own recognizance, police said. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Riverhead Police at 631-727-4500 ext. 312. All calls will be kept confidential.
